Home, School, and Church:
The connection between the Home, School, and your Church is critical to helping your child get the best of their education at Baker View Christian School. There are many ways for you to get involved with your child's learning. Home & School Association allows for parents, churches, and families to support the students of our school.
How can you help? Go to our calendar or events
to see what programs and events are scheduled. Also check with the secretary on filling out a form listing areas that are most needed to assist the school and enrich the program. When children see their families involved in education they know that it is important. If families do not get involved, education thus becomes less important. It is up to you how your child views education.
Below is an article that emphasizes great ideas in keeping the Home & School connection alive.
Special School Wish List:
- Playground Equipment
- Smart Boards
- If you would like to donate towards either project. Please contact our office with your donation. The van would be used to transport the children to great field trip opportunities. The Laminator is a teacher necessity that is hard to live without. It helps to preserver classroom materials for longer lasting use. Thank you for your support for these projects.
P.I.E. Hours: What does that mean?
P.I.E. is Parents Involvement Education. Baker View Christian School welcomes and encourages parents to be involved actively in their child's education. To this end, we require our parents to participate and invest in a minimum of 10 hours per semester per family (Gr. 1-8) 5 hours per semester (Kindergarten), 3 hours per semester (3 & 4 year old Preschool Program) with helping out in whatever way parents can to enhance and enrich our school program. We welcome all help. Below is listed some of the areas that you can get involved. We want to thank BVCS parents and constituents for their outstanding support of our school and students. Below is an article that also shares why getting involved with your child's education is so valuable. We know you want to make that kind of difference. May God bless you as you find ways to help serve this year.
