 Volunteering We would like to extend an invitation to all our church families. Understanding that contributing more to our school fiscally is not always easy and sometimes impossible. We would like to invite you to consider helping at our school. There are so many ways you can help. You could give an hour working on the grounds, keeping up the building, teaching a class, supervising a lunch hour, making a hot lunch for the kids, helping in the library, helping with a project in a classroom , supervising or instructing an athletic event. We ask that you pray about it, and think about it and if you are so moved, please call the school. Tell us what you would like to do and we’ll arrange a time that would work for you and the school. Thank you for all your contributions. We appreciate all the caring commitment our church families have demonstrated!
A reminder also to parents to get your PIE hours in before the crunch at the end of the year, and extra hours would be also appreciated. Don't forget! Mileage can be written off on your taxes for volunteer work, so keep track of you mileage and any unreimbursed items you purchase (and keep it where you can find it at tax time:) when you volunteer for us! |
